This blog aims to maintain a certain standard with all of its content. If you do not follow the general rules outlined below, your posts will be rejected. We reserve the right to delete your account if you insist on disregarding our Content policy.

Spelling and Grammar

Your writing reflects on you. Please check your spelling and your sentence structure. The word processing editor will underline any words that are misspelt but it will not help with poor sentence structure. Write clearly and succinctly. Even though your post will be moderated before being published (see below), it doesn’t hurt to get things right from the word go. Looking up a word in a dictionary can only help your language skills so look at it as a way of enhancing your knowledge.

Now you might think that this is a weird request from a website that has the ‘f’ word and other profanity liberally scattered throughout all posts. It might seem so at first but have a think about it. We swear when we are angry and the ‘f’ word is one way that we release our anger and frustration. This website is about ranting, venting and getting things off your chest. So of course the ‘f’ word will make many guest appearances. This is a hell of a lot better than being violent towards others or, as is sadly the case all too often, taking a gun and shooting innocent people. I’d rather have someone swear at me than bash me with a baseball bat!

Using the ‘f’ word in one’s writing does not mean that the writing belongs in a porno magazine, does it? Have a read of all the posts by perdox. Are the sentences in the posts structured? Does each post tell a little story? Does each post impart a tinsy winsy piece of knowledge? I think they do. The profanity is an indication of the anger and frustration I feel (the Optus post typifies this) and it’s my sweet little revenge. I don’t advocate violence because my pen (er, keyboard) is mightier than the sword.

Please do not use SMS English. You know what I mean. Don’t write ‘B4 I go’. This is butchering the language and we already have enough people doing that. Post with SMS English will not be published unless of course they relate to the subject of text messaging.

Do not defame/slander

You must not defame anyone in your posts. This will not be tolerated. Not only will your post not be published, but your account will be removed immediately. If by some chance your post accidentally gets published, there is the possibility that you might be sued. It can also have ramifications of this website and we want no part in such matters. You have been warned! If you are writing about a corporation that has infuriated you, it is OK to use the Corporation’s name in a general sense. Do not mention anyone by their full name.
