- WordPress plugin: Register Plus
- WordPress plugin: Form Builder
- WordPress plugin: Add to Any Button
- Wordpress plugin: All in one SEO pack
What does it do?
The All in one SEO Pack plugin is a very useful plugin and is probably a must for your blog. It optimises your content so that it is ’search engine friendly’. This means that your content has a better chance of being indexed by search engine such as Google, Yahoo and others.
Installation
I installed this plugin using the WP 2.7.1 Plugins installer. Select Plugins > Add New and enter All in One SEO Pack. Once activated, the plugin appears under the Settings tab with the name All in one SEO. The plugin can also be found here.
Configuration
There is one configuration page for this plugin. Below are two screenshots showing the various fields that you can customise. I have gone with the default values for most of the fields except the ones specific to my website.
Documentation
Some documentation in the form of FAQs can be found here. There is also a very useful video showing how to configure the plugin and it can be viewed here.
Support
I wasn’t able to find a forum as such for this plugin but there is a link on the website for reporting bugs and suggesting features. You can fill in the contact form found on this page.
Summary
I didn’t have any problems with this plugin. As mentioned above, I left most of the fields with their default values. There probably are fields that could be tweaked to increase your blog’s exposure to the search engines but I was not willing to go into too much depth with the settings. All I know is that my blog does get indexed by Google and Yahoo so I am happy with the results.
